The author

Haydn Boyce

Born in the United Kingdom to a Guyanese mother and an English father, Haydn spent his formative years hopping between the Pacific Islands, the Middle East, Central America, and the Caribbean to the tune of his father’s job.

That international upbringing carried into adulthood, and he has since lived in and travelled through different parts of the world.

A lifelong fan of fantasy and science fiction, Haydn is fascinated by history and anthropology—particularly the cultures, behaviours, and circumstances that shape societies.

When not writing, he can usually be found reading, exploring, at the cinema, in a museum, or lost down a historical rabbit hole.
